Nursery Rhyme: The Snail
I carry my house wherever I go, Rent and Taxes I pay none whatever And I'm perfectly sure, though perhaps I am slow, There are few other people so clever.
Though I dont a first sight seem to have any eyes, Or nose, or remarkable feature, When I put out my horns and swell out my size You'll confess I'm a beautiful creature.
Like the rest, for my pride, I must pay a high price And make my self out to thinner, For if not, a great blackbird swoops down in a trice And gobbles me up for his dinner.
