Nursery Rhyme: Hold Fast Let Go
You must listen to what is said in this game,
and be careful to do exactly the opposite.
Four players stand up,
and each takes hold of one corner of a handkerchief.
A fifth player calls out: 'Hold fast!'
and anyone who does not let go will be out;
while, if the order is 'Let go!'
those who fail to hold fast will be out.
The orders must be given rapidly, one after the other,
and someone is sure to make a mistake,
but the last to do so, of course, is the winner.
